Hello and welcome, I am so grateful that you’re here! My name is Katie and I reside on the front range of Colorado. As an artist, I am in service to a deeper current that flows through me to express itself in the form of adornment, as a prayer and ode to the land. I am deeply inspired by Earth's subtleties and her transformative powers that work us humans internally. Smelling fresh dew on the grass, trees, and plants in the morning; observing the way the water ripples around boulders in a creek; hearing the sound of the waves crashing on the beach--we may not realize it, but the way she evokes our senses calls us back home to ourselves.

My work is a medium for alchemy. The four elements of fire, air, water and earth are powerful vehicles of change that are both visible, and work us on an internal level. I am symbolically transferring this power into jewelry and object, and in turn to the wearer and user.

My creative process is in direct correlation to the way I live my life. In reverence to the land, I slow down to notice all of her subtleties. In my process, I sit with the land. Every stone has been carefully chosen. I receive a vision for the piece, and when it comes to the fabrication of the jewelry, it goes through the transformative elements of earth, air, fire and water to become the tangible vision. Every piece I create is a tangible prayer.

My hope is that you feel like you’re carrying the essence of the earth, or that special place you have a deep connection to, and you're reminded of what it felt like when you first saw the mountains, ocean, or desert for the first time.
